Hard to believe we were last on our blog at xmas.....

So much has happened. Pebbles got really, really, sick on Christmas eve and took most of Jan and into Feb before she was all better, Mom decided while daddy was in America (he left the day after Christmas and was away for 10 days) to have a little Oooops type accident in the car (a $1,000+ Au Ooops) She was very embarrassed, fortunately our skin sister was with us and being a Saturday there were lots of men passing by who stopped and helped. It took about 10 of them to lift the car out of one of those planter things they have in carparks. Seems mom decided to park in front of the only one that didn't have a tree in it.....and when leaving decided to drive forward........silly her, and then she got sick...... she no sooner got over one problem then another occurred then she got the flu that took 3 weeks to clear........I was the only healthy one around here for quite a while.

We are all getting better now and with the summer almost over we should be around here more often. Mom said there is just so much reading to catch up on, on everyone's blogs that she isn't sure she will ever catch up.... She said she needs someone to give her all the gossip in a nutshell. Whatever that means.

We will post pictures soon, mommy has just finished freshening up our blog with a new background and banner and we still have more news on what has been going on with us.

Last but, not least a big thank you to all who posted messages to us in our absence that was very kind of you and we appreciated it.

Today is a special day

We cannot tell you mommy's age but, it is one of those that have a zero on the end and the sort of number in front that made mommy's voice tremble when she said it out loud today. We do know one thing though, and that is if she were a doggy she would be well and truly dead by now!! (just joking mommy) Mommy and daddy celebrated her birthday last night and mommy is spending a quiet day with us today as daddy left for 2 weeks in Korea early this morning and our skin sister just got back from Japan so she is sleeping. It is going to be a beautiful day so we think we will take mommy for a walk to the lake for a picnic lunch..... we know she will like that.

An afternoon in the life of us

Hi, its me Pebbles, telling tails about what we did this afternoon.....

First we secretly discussed what we would do.....

Then we chose our toys.... Scrappy went first because he is the eldest, See what a good girl I am..... waiting patiently for my turn.


Then it was my turn to choose a toy...........

The choice of games was easy, I chose to do a few zoomies with Scrappy chasing me, then after a little rest Scrappy decided on a game of tug..... We love to play tug.

Then Scrappy wanted me to play bitey face with him... but first I had to try and destuff this rabbit.

The eagle has landed

Well, the stress balls work, The stress level for the humans rose in our house when, Pebbles started to cough up the bits of foam she had eaten!!

Little sisters are useful

I made this discovery while catching some sunshine

That's Pebbles under my chin. I needed a place to rest my head and Pebbles made a very comfy headrest........ she didn't seen to mind in the least either. But, maybe that was because she fell asleep while chewing on my hair!


I love to sunbake and today was a perfect Spring day though sadly Australia is in the worst drought ever and we need so much more rain.


This is my new harness that mommy made.
I was a little worried it may not be "manly" enough, knowing mommy's liking for pink! but see, it is a Chambray shirt.... very manly I think!

It has a bow tie just under my chin... mommy tucked my hair back so you can see it...

She made an Oooopsie though ...... she forgot to put the D ring on!

Having a little sister who likes to hang off me is playing havoc with my hair as you can see. Still it is all fun, and it is a good excuse to sit on mommie's lap to be brushed. I love to be brushed, which mommy says is just as well in view of the circumstances.

My blog has undergone a name change!
I guess it is only fitting as there is now the 2 of us.
