For me, Scrappy! Mommy said I had to put it aside for my birthday...... But, but, how come everyone was allowed to look and I wasn't!! huh, huh!! After all it was addressed to me and Pebbles, so unfair......... There must be somewhere I can report this sort of mean hoooman!!Can you see the yellow sticker at the top says
Mommy had to open the parcel not to be mean to me and Pebbles but because she saw that the Australian Customs had put stickers on it telling her to open it immediately...... WHAT!!
"Opened by Australia Post for inspection by Quarantine"This last document is saying they will destroy the seized goods after 30 days or if I want to send them back to the sender it will cost $42.50Au!!!Huskee Boy we love you for thinking of us and please don't be upset by what happened. Mommy wrapped the parcel back up to save till my birthday and is so sorry your good intentions ended like this...... You will have to show me a picture of what I missed out on.....
On the bottom of one of the letters it says to tell anyone wanting to send parcels into Australia to refer them to AQIS Website www.aqis.gov.au
Thanks again Huskee Boy for being so kind in remembering my birthday.......
I really appreciate your thoughtfulness and I cannot wait to open your giftPawed by Scrappy
(This is Scrappy's mommy: the customs dept only took the treats, they left the toy and the gift for Pebbles).

Hi Scrappy & Pebbles,
Oh nooooo... the treats!! But they still gave you the toys right?I think there were only 2 packets of treats in there so it's not as bad (and the treats definitely costed less than A$42!! Heehee..)
XOXO,
Huskee Boy
Oh boy, the custom sure is strict. Well at least you still get the non-food gifts from Huskee got your birthday present. :)

Yeah our Customs here in Australia are really strict when it comes to any food or plant matter, shame though, but at least the toys will be fun.
So your barkday is 30th Sept kewl - please let mama know via e-mail (kimba.jh@gmail.com) where she can send to you.

Yep our customs are very, very strict. Mommy was having heart failure when she saw the letter as she had a letter last year telling her she would be fined $165,000.00Au if she tried importing any food or plant matter again that was after she had tried to get into Aust a product that clears up eyestains.
Hugs
Scrappy
